Background

From shooting his first home movies with his mother’s iphone, to creating practical life-sized creatures during his high school ceramics class, Thomas has always relied on resources from “his backyard” to turn his dreams into reality. He embraces limitation and uses it as an advantage, finding freedom not in excess, but in the discipline of restraint.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in Motion Picture Arts from Florida State University, Thomas aims to subvert the idea of the traditional blockbuster, crafting universal films that inspire wonder and imagination while encouraging audiences to think critically about the world and the stories that shape it. He strives to craft stories that challenge and transform, leaving audiences not just entertained, but profoundly moved.

Early Years

Growing up as a triplet, Thomas learned the value of sharing and collaborating at an early age. His love for storytelling, the outdoors, and science fiction was shaped by his time as an Eagle Scout, during which he embarked on sailing excursions, canoeing trips, and month-long backpacking treks across the western United States. These experiences taught him not only the thrill of adventure, but something more essential: storytelling at its most elemental form, and what lies at the heart of every story: an audience.
